Annual Scholarship Program

Upsilon Sigma Phi is proud to offer a yearly scholarship program. The program awards two scholarships, in the amount of $5,000 per year, to Direct Descendants (Children, Grand Children, Great Grandchildren) of active members of the Upsilon Sigma Phi Alumni Association. Preference given to Alumni with more than five years of active participation

The two awards are for:

• High School Seniors at an accredited High School entering college (Award 1)
• College Freshman/Sophomores who are Full Time Students at an accredited undergraduate institution – public or private acceptable (Award 2)

Applicants are not limited to applying only once. They may apply in subsequent years as long as they meet the above criteria. Selection criteria for the awards include academic achievement, advanced placement/honors courses, extracurricular/public service activities and the completion of an essay.

Applicants must be accepted at Private or public 501 (C) (3) and accredited institutions of higher learning. The award is only eligible for undergraduate education. Institutions that are eligible do not include online, Co-OP, Summer School, Technical colleges, community colleges, or vocational schools.
